  1. My son is nine, he loves to read comic books, sporting magazines, Zoo books,   he collects Pokemon cards and Yugio cards, baseball cards,  is he into sports?  If he plays baseball, a pair of batting gloves would be a nice gift they are small and light weight,  a CD, a baseball cap, a card with money in it, mine loves to receive money.

a PC game,   polar bowler,   any kind of hunting or fishing game,

he is just now getting into model cars, and air planes.

he likes to play with hot wheels cars,   A baseball, a wallet,

seeds for planting a garden,  if he has some where to plant one,

fresh out of ideas  good luck hope I gave you an idea or two that you can use.

  2. Gift cards are always the way to go so you don't have to worry about him not liking it.

  3. GIFT CARD

  4. You can never go wrong

    with gift cards or cash.

    That would be the

    easiest to ship and

    he could get whatever

he wants with it. I hope

    this helps.

  5. Go to the 99cent store.

  6. target gift card

  7. Does he have an Ipod? a 20 dollar Ipod musictunes gift card would be great.

  8. $20 is a bit much for a 9 year old.

I would buy him a book. Something easy enough to read but good enough to get him involved.

Most book stores have their kids section divided by age so it should not take long.

Or look into a series like Redwall, his parents can read it to him and there is pretty much no way a 9 year old boy can not like the story.

    Animals at war.

  9. A movie would be in your price range and easy to mail too.

  10. What about a CD?  That would be cheap to ship and if you do it early enough you can send it book rate and save yourself money on shipping.  There are some for about $12-15 that would be great for that age.  I would suggest a RADIO Disney for that age range.  There a hip songs that have a variety of Disney artists on each one.  I would also buy it at a store like Target that give gift receipts so that if he wants to exchange for another one he can.

  11. My 9 year old grandson LOVES Webkinz. They are very popular right now.

Here's how they work, you get them a plush toy with a secret code that can be typed on the computer at http://webkinz.com and create an account. Once on there, they can create a home for their pets and play games. It's like having a real pet!

Most Webkinz are under $20. You can also get them at Halmark or your local giftshop or grocery store and at http://amazon.com

    Good luck!

  12. Get him a few bouncy balls (like superballs) I loved those when I was 9. I'm a girl and 13 now, but I'm a hardcore tomboy.

  13. Send him cash 9 year olds love cash.

  14. Don't most 9 year old boys like a sport, like maybe soccer, football, or basketball? You should be able to find an inexpensive ball at most department stores. You might even be able to find an inexpensive ball glove and ball. Try Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Target, or Toys-R-Us. Good luck.
