Question:

A non traditional song to walk down the aisle to? ?

I'm getting married in just under a month now, and I still can't find the perfect song to walk to. I need suggestions! I like 80's, rock, alternative music but I'm open to any genre. I'm kind of stuck between "Walking After You" by the Foo Fighters, or a piano cover of The Cure's "Friday I'm in Love". But before I decided between those, I'd like to hear what you guys think.

Thanks!

  1. "Time in a Bottle" by Jim Croce.   that song means alot because Ingrid Croce, his widow dedicated it to our prom back in 1980 in San Diego.  Her husband died in a plane crash and she never stopped loving her husband.  Top Hat Bar and Grill is still in Downtown San Diego.  It is a romantic song for all ages.  Nights in White Satin is a great song by the Moody Blues but it is too long and makes a great get ready song for the bridal party.  Walking after you is great because it pleases all age groups.  Congrats on your wedding!!!   For the old folks?   Sun rise, Sun set!  From Fiddler on the roof!

  2. "There's another one down, another one gone, another one bites the dust."

Just kidding:  Grow Old With You by Adam Sandler has a very 80's sound and it is the most romantic song out there.

  3. Believe it or not, there are people who walk down the aisle to the Rocky Theme song, "Eye of the Tiger." There is a Steven Curtis Chapman song that I am considering for the aisle for me, check it out. It's called "I will be here." It is a very beautiful song. He actually wrote it for his wife. Congratulations, and God Bless your new love!

  4. I had a hard time with that also. I have a very eclectic taste in music so I had too many choices! I think I have decided on the beatles song "in my life"  covered by johny Cash. He does it acoustic just him and his guitar. This is i think the only time I will say that someone did a beatles song better than the beatles. Also...here there everywhere by the beatles is beautiful.
