Actually it did not happen in the same place where the Titanic sank.  The Titanic was traveling from Europe to the US, across the North Atlantic.  The ship that went down this week (and everyone was rescued, by the way) was in Antartica, very far from where the Titanic Sank.

It was a cruise ship, yes.
