A not so impressive win for Chelsea, was it??

Wigan had 4 shots on goal compared to Chelsea's 1(Deco's). Ballack and Lampard played useless in midfield. And 3 hrs ago people here were talking of Chelsea winning 6-0 and 4-0 and stuff.

yeah i was a fool for even thinking they would win by that many goals difference but as soon as i watched chelsea play after the goal,i was hoping that wigan would equalize cause chelsea today was c**p

if it wasnt for that free kick they wouldnt have won the game

wigan deserved to  win cause they were more dangerous and created more chances for goal

also they were more passionate in the second half

The pitch at the JJB stadium is the worst. Yes the game wasn't impressive but the goal was a beauty.

They also tried a new formation instead of the normal 4-3-3.

They played 4-1-4-1. With essien holding and anelka lone striker. Its something the team is adapting to.

They will play good against tottenham at home.

If Koumas had stayed on im sure Wigan would've got an equaliser cause DeRiddier found himself in a glorious position twice and screwed up both times but Chelsea getting rid of Schevchenko was a stupid move cause now they're only 2 1/2 decent strikers!

Au contraire, my friend, the fact that Chelsea and Liverpool are able to eke out 3 points even when their opponents play as good if not better than them is an ominous sign for their title rivals.

Deco and Cech were world class. In general, it only takes class performance from two players to win a game. All the rest have to do is see that they don't commit mistakes, and any team can be beaten.

If I remember right, Man Utd got a lot of undeserved 1-0 wins last season, didn't they? And we all know how their season ended.

Yes, the win wasn't impressive, but a win is a win, no matter how or by how many, and every point's vital towards the end.
