If you think you will stick with it I say go for it or you will always wonder what would have happened if you would have tried.  Life is short and I would rather see you try and go for it than live with the regret that you didn't.  I know that seems like a high dollar amount in loans but with a Dr's salary I you will be able to afford it.  Go for it!
