A part of my dream, a man emerged from a wooden bookshelf, what does it mean?

it could also be a closet, he was wearing green and he emerged from the closet, looking at me and smiling. He looked around 40, black hair, small eyes, wearing suit and tall.

i'm a psychology major and i have been doing dream interpretations for a while as a hobby.  this sounds like a very good dream, very encouraging.

the color green usually represents some kind of good fortune coming to you.  a bookcase represents a want for an increased amount of knowledge.  are you in school can concerned about grades.  maybe this dream is telling you that you are doing fine and will achieve whatever goal you have set in mind through your education

if it is a closet, it could mean that you are hiding something, but i don't have enough details about your dream to figure out what it is you are hiding...

dream interpretation is not an exact science and should be taken with a grain of salt.  is there anymore in this dream.  you have a good list of details about the man, but is there any other little detail.  details are everything when interpreting dreams because all things in dreams are translated to symbols

Well, that's better than having a humanoid teleport into your bedroom and making as if to grab you.

I nearly cacked myself when i dreamt that one.
