A perfect name for a dog?

Question

Hi everyone! Well, in my recent question I asked about getting a dog from the pound & I will tomorrow. But I need a name for it! I really don't know what type of dog to choose & I don't think that affects the name of it. I am getting a female, that's all I'm thinking. Possibly a german shepard 'cuz I j'dore them! what breed does effect in some ways, i got a pure bred shiba, since she originated from japan i gave her a japanese name, 'Hoshi' which means 'star' in japanese. you should know what dog and what it looks like before naming coz the majority name their dogs depending on their appearance, size, color, temperament or sometime after people. so if it your dog it should be personal, i take names seriously just as people do for tattoos, its a life thing but if you dont really care why dont you just name it Rex,  not like it means anything to you

Its great that you are rescuing! Every dog in there deserves to be rescued but sadly its not going to happen. Just remember that most dogs in there are not pure-bred almost all of them are mutts

Well my aunts german Shepard just died (aww! i know). She was such a smart, real pretty girl and her name was: Greta it's german for girl or pretty girl or something like that.

I have a lab x g/shepard and we named her Summer (can also be spelt Summah). One of my friend named her daughter Summer and I loved the name.

German shepards are beautiful dogs, my mum has the mother of my Summer, her name is Jasmine. She has a beautiful nature.
