A period question (im a guy sorry for not knowing exactly haha)?

ok. i know obviously if a woman is pregnant she misses her next period. i also know that when a woman is stressed to a point, she will miss her period at its scheduled time. here is my question. if a woman is stressed and misses a period, will it not come at all until the normal time of the month the following month or will it come at a time unknown? help please i don't want my girlfriend stressed because she thinks shes pregnant. help me.

stressing does not cause you to miss your period however their could be many factors  she needs to go to the doc i know it aint easy but its worth it theirs free clinics out their

Sometimes it'll come sooner than normal, sometimes it'll come later than normal. It'll come at a time unknown...It shouldn't come at the normal time next month unless she has an extremely regular schedule - most women don't.

periods are not a definite date. They fluctuate very often for most females. Stress and eating habits both effect when a womans period arrives. The best thing you can do is take a test. They have early response tests for a few days before you period is supposed to arrive.

periods are weird, a lot of factors can affect the cycle. all you can do is play the waiting game and don't stress out too much!

first of all, use protection or be prepared to take responsibility for your actions.

secondly, if a woman is stressed, she doesn't skip a period, it just may come at a later time, unknown....not at the next scheduled period.

But, a late or missed period can be a result of more than just a pregnancy or stress.  Take a pregnancy test first and then I would go to the Gyno just to be safe.  

Hope it is just stress! If it's a pregnancy, congrats and I hope you will be supportive of your girlfriend.  A supportive boyfriend in these situations can make all the difference in the world.

most girl's period is not always the same day every month, yes when we get stressed it comes at a wierd time, its ounds like your gf doesn't want to be pregnant i hope everything works out. see a doctor!!!

stress can mess with a womans hormones. when a womans period is lapsed due to stress it can come at any time. its usually when she has relaxed and moved on from the stress. but if the stress doesn't subside and she isn't pregnant it will eventually happen. it could take a while but mother nature always prevails.

It could do either.  Late, or skipped...anything can happen.  I've missed and entire period being on birth control pills.  Welcome to the world of women.  If she is scared about being pregnant, tell her to take a home pregnancy test.  This could put her mind at ease.  They're about $20, and usually come with two pee strips.  Good luck.

It will come a little bit later like up to a week tops depending on how much stress she won't miss it for a whole month a few days tops so ask her to chill a bit so she can tell. Get a pregancy test if shes worried.

Well, first you must determine if she's preg or not.  Get an over the counter test kit.  If she's not preg and just missed her period due to stress it could come at any time.  As long as there is a chance that she is pregnant, she should test every few days.  If 6 - 8 weeks go by she should see her gyn.

the period could come at any time from the day she was supposed to start. if she doesn't start on the expected day, she can take a pregnancy test to figure out if she is pregnant. the first missed day of your period, the pregnancy results are accurate.

Get a pregnancy test done first.  If it comes out positive, then you know what that means.  If its negative, then it might just be stress.  Either way she may want to see a doctor just in case something isn't right.  She may have a problem with he female organs and I think it would lower the stress levels--hers and YOURS.  I hope everything works out and that she is ok.
