I worked at a certain company in Sri Lanka, they did not pay me my salary so i wrote a letter stating that i will keep the laptop until my salary is paid, however, i was called by the Chairman and he promised to give me my salary so i returned the laptop. After that i got only half of my salary and when i called him i told him he was a big monkey he was annoyed that i called him names he has now made a complain at the police station stating i stole the laptop, the only think i forgot was to take back that letter, I am now out of the country, but I will have to go back I am worried what will happen

  1. Good luck getting the rest of your money and I doubt that you'll have to worry about anything happening.

  2. well if you are no longer in possession of the laptop then i wouldn't worry.  before he was aware that you had the laptop, he made an agreement with you so you returned the laptop.  if anything he is now in the wrong because he has not paid you your full salary.  good luck!
