  1. the muslim believes that you can not perform their task if you are not one of them but there's nothing wrong if you do so.

  2. We would feel pleased if only a non-Muslim respects our observance in accordance to the teachings of the Holy Quran.

If a non-Muslim performs our observances, reads the Quran etc. we would respect him/her with the core of our heart. He/She will be most accepted and appreciated in the Muslim society. We will try our best to help him/her in any cases.

  3. I was in Iraq twice.  We always went WAY OUT OF OUR WAY to try to accommodate the Muslims during Ramadan.  No matter what we did, they always violently attacked.

Live your own life, and respect your own customs.  Demand that they be tolerant of your views.  Caring how Muslims felt has gotten a lot of my friends killed.  It's not worth it, and it never works.

  4. it wont offend

  5. If any Muslim does get offended, you shouldn't care.

I am Muslim, and I wouldn't be offended.  All a Muslim SHOULD do is help that person if any questions arise.

  6. Observing out of sympathy?

What could be gained by that.  That's just ridiculous.

I'd be curious to know if muslims would do that same.  I highly doubt it.
