vm = Person's speed = 15 m / 90 s = 1/6 m/s

ve = Escalator speed = 15/60 = 1/4 m/s

Speed when walking on moving escalator

= 1/6 + 1/4 = 5/12 m/s

Time to cross 15 m

= 15 divided by 5/12

= 15 x 12/5

= 36 s
