  1. What has happened or what your life would include?  Or do you just include the crazy highlights?

    So here goes:

In my early years I read by the age of three, so I was bored by school until fourth grade.  I was extremely geeky with huge round glasses and braces.  Although painfully shy, I was the best athlete in the whole school.  This continued through high school, and even was a state champion in track by sophomore year.   Unfortunately, I was diagnosed with leukemia after turning 16.  I still graduated from high school, and even went back to state in track, taking 6th place as a senior.  I went to a little ivy college, where I shed those braces and glasses and had my first kiss (yes, it took that long).  In college I met a prince, who began to date me.  We traveled all over the world, but in the end, he turned out to be very self centered.  I broke up with him, turning down the opportunity to be one of the wealthiest women in the world, because there wasn't love.  I was pronounced cured of cancer.  I graduated, then went to Graduate school for two masters and there I met a guy who had very little money, but we were everything to each other.  My family disowned me for our ultimate marriage, but it didn't matter.  Years later, I gave up working in my masters' fields because the work was tedious and unrewarding.  I went back to school in the culinary world, as cooking had become my passion.  My husband travels all over the world for his work, and I travel with him.  My career in the kitchen is demanding but crazy fun.  I wrote two books and expect that the worldy travels will expand my languages past the romance section...

is this the stuff you're looking for?

  2. If it's a legend, you should have a quest to go on and a dragon to slay, shouldn't you?

    OK, seriously.

A legend should be, at least, a little like that.  You need obstacles, opportunities to prove your courage, triumphs, some surprises along the way, and maybe someone/something to rescue along the way.

Take a legend from a book and try to translate it into what it might mean in a real person's life instead of in fantasy.

And, of course, you get to be the hero!
