A physical at the doctors?

What usually happens?

They check you out, listen to your lungs, weigh you, measure you, and take your blood pressure.

Then they interrogate you about what you eat, how much you exercise, if you wear glasses, and (if your 18 or older) if you're sexually active.

But that's just a rough outline. It could be different at your doctor's.

They look you over...EVERYWHERE.

check your weight, your height, vital signs, heart rate, respitory,your blood pressure, check inside your mouth, your ears, they may check reflexes in your knees, check to see if you have any swelling in your legs.  Ask questions about your cycle with you period.  Maybe a urine sample if needed or blood tests if they think it's necessary.  Usually a breast exam and your female plumbing is checked out by a gynacologist instead.  If you are older, they may send you to get a mammogram.  If you are a guy, they make you bend over an cough. lol  I guess that's about it.

really depends and how old are you?? usually just a general inspection of the ears nose throat unless you are having other problems or the doc physically notices something that doesn't look right

depends what type of physical you are getting. sometimes they look down there and feel around. but other wise they listen to your heart  blood pressure eyes and so on

They'll probably take your weight, blood pressure, check your reflexes, your peripheral vision, maybe hearing (location hearing), prostate maybe (men), hernia aka turn your head and cough (men),  pap (female), breast palpation (female), and ask you questions which you will be 100% honest when answering :o)
