is one pint of water enough to drink a day or should i be drinking more.

  1. Well depending on what else you drink or eat (remember food has water content too) 1 pint could be enough.  If you are not feeling ill or tired and are not having any other types of problems maybe you're doing all right.  A good rule of thumb though is to drink at least half of your body weight in ounces of water per day.  For example if you weigh 150 pounds, you should drink at least 75 ounces of water a day.  1 pint is only 16 ounces, maybe you could at least drink an extra pint?  Hope this helps you.


  2. A pint is really not enough.  How much you drink a day depends on your age, body weight and activity level.  A triathlon runner is going to drink more water than somebody who is sitting all day.

    One rule of thumb is the eight 8-oz glasses of water a day. Does not include tea, coffee and soft drinks.  Tea and coffee are diuretics and make you go to the bathroom.

    If you feel thirsty, drink water not a soft drink.  Those vitamin drinks are useless as far as I am concerned. Just another sneaky way to get your money and fool you into thinking its good for you.

    Fresh fruit of your choice - cut up and frozen

    Cold water

    Add the fresh frozen fruit to the water like ice cubes, its refreshing, healthful and cheap.

    that is deffinatelyyyyy not enough.

    you need at least 8 to avoid getting dehydrated.
