A place for a get together near washington sqaure park?

Question

i am looking for a bar/brunch spot with a nice open area for a bunch of people to gather and drink bloody marys. possibly around 20 people, and since it is going to be around 12:30 on a sunday morning i don't want to have to deal with the brunch crowd.

my first idea was crocodile lounge, and i think it would be a good option, it just is a little far away. anyone have any suggestions?
