A leader was moratlly wounded in this spot and a memorial was built. Sometimes it was used as warehouse of perishbale and also to store huge theatre props. I am looking for the place name

It is probably Ford's Theatre in Washington DC, where Abraham Lincoln was shot.

This had several names and uses before becoming a theatre, it was used as a storehouse, and obviously there were theatre props there.
