A plant has 29g Ca, 45g Mg & 102g K. How many millimoles of Ca, Mg and K does it contain?

Ca= 40g/mol

Mg = 24g/mol

K = 39g/mol

Hope someone can help me figure this one out.

  1. A millimole is 0.001 mole.

    Ca:

    (29 g)/((40 g/mol) = 0.725 mol

    (0.725 mol)(1,000 mmol/mol) =

    725 millimoles

    The rest work out the same way.
