Question

Mamma says

this life ain't free,

the whole d**n world

as accosted me.

Mamma says

dont give a hoot,

they are gun free happy,

they want to shoot.

Mamma says

I've lived my life,

slings and arrows,

the butchers knife.

But mamma says

take care of you,

be aware of the damage,

this world can do.

Mammas love

the purest known,

for without her words,

I could not have grown.

Mamma sleeps now

but her words ring true,

mamma God bless

till I'm home again with you.

nothing is free,

Your poem is about life

as well as about love

Something that is given

and unconditionally.

Your mamma is right

take care of you

but make sure you are careful
