She can’t change the world.
She is limited only by her looks.
Because she is popular girl,
She cannot be caught with books.
She must make a dumb façade;
Hide the thoughts that want to shine.
Every day she hates her life,
But most still think it fine.
They don’t see it’s torture,
To hide these brilliant notions.
She knows she must be an airhead,
But only knows the motions.
She can’t really be so dim;
But inside her thoughts are curled.
She knows that this much is true:
She won’t change the world.
I know, rhyme scheme is a little unoriginal.
