Question

Wrong Doings

I feel of a million mistakes run through my veins

The ones like forgetting your keys or “accidentally” hitting your sibling.

Those of which are just parts of life.

You get over them.

Little mistakes…

…..

I feel of one mistake.

But oh..it is not like the ones that run through ones veins.

No..

It’s the kind of mistake that sticks to your mind.

Gives you a title.

A title you feel so greatly ashamed of.

The one you plead of letting go of.

But how you know..its there..to stay with you.

Forever..no going back.

A mistake so grand..you feel no more happiness.

For that mistake breaks you down to tears.

Aka:

High School.

It's really true to life, and conveys a message. I think everyone can relate to it, since we've all done things that we are ashamed of and wish we hadn't.

I think it's pretty good, overall.

people really don't want to read endless acounts of your suffering, loneliness, rejection, depression and personal pain, they just don't.  it's better to write and express your own personal pain, but that's not poetry.  it's what I call poetic therapy.  and it's better to keep these to your self.  It's better to capture in writing what the emotions of another person looks like rather than just an outpouring of your own emotion.  

I don't know why people just can't get this.
