I think that

serenity

is being at peace

with the world.

You don't have to be

alone

all the time;

you just

have

to find your little

niche.

Have I improved since I wrote this poem? I know it is really short, but I don't care. I wrote this as one of my first poems ever.

  1. As a first poem ever it is awesome -- filled with awe.  To understand and capture the words of serenity and peace, as you have done, gives this poem universality -- and that is what makes a poem touch lives.

    Improved?  Yes, but you started on a very high plateau!

    T.

  2. The simplicity of the poem, is testament to "Art." Regardless of what others may tell you, its simplicity is the Art itself. Excellent poem. Compared to your Art-form of late, you've been lulled into thinking the wordiness is more important than simplicity; it is the opposite. thus this poem is better than some of the work you've written after. Seek to draw they imagination of the reader into your poem, don't just give every emotion and ideal to them through your words, let the reader think.

  3. I do like it. I am sure you have improved, life is a continuum, and we are never stagnant. I think an appropriate title is "Serenity"

  4. I like this poem, but I don't know if you have improved because I haven't heard any of your more recent work. :D

  5. It shows that even then you had a natural inclination to the world of poetry... it is good but yes, you have improved. And will keep improving until your final poem is written and you pass on into that world where many others have ventured! But that is far ahead for you yet, you still have a great journey to go...
