Dear dad

I know how long you waited

at the airport

I should've call

to tell I'm stranded

Dear Mum

I just can't wait to go home

to be with you and dad

and our dogs and cats

Daddy and Mummy

I know how much you loved me

I'm so sorry I couldn't make it

destiny brought me

to a different path

not what I have in mind

I'm so sorry I forgot your birthday

I'm so sorry I didn't remember Father's Day

I'm so sorry I took for granted every single day

I'm so sorry that I came home this way

I should'e tell you I love you everyday

and that I miss you in every single way

but words never come out right

sometimes I just blurted out my anger

in such disrespectful manner

Good morning mummy and daddy

that's how I wanted to greet you

and kiss you on the cheek

as you march to the graveyard

the rain start falling

and there in that perfect place

looking at me lovingly

for the last time

you buried my body still life

As I see you cries

I feel my own invisible tears
