Spiritual Autopsy

You've been rushed by ambulance

To an emergency room

Filled with light

Sound and feeling

Your head is reeling

Someone yells CLEAR

As scripture is read

For Soul Pulmonary Resuscitation

One-one thousand, Two-one thousand,

FLATLINE

You cling to the world

You crave the life of the world

Instead of the life that God wants for you

Thankfully it's not too late

For you to have a Spiritual Autopsy

Placing your sins in the obituary

Placing you in Sanctuary

The rebirth - to survive a near death experience - to be totally aware (later on - of course) that you had been given additional time on this earth.  For what great reason - do you ask?  For all extensions must have a reason? ♥
