How can a man of friends and friendliness,

Be alone in his loneliness?

Secretly depressed and opressed,

By his directness.

Should I digress?

For I confess that my happiness

Intertwined in a mess of joylessness,

Not hopelessness.

I'll supress,

Better yet I'll express

Feelings of hope and seek happiness,

And build a fortress

From the mortars of togetherness.

We all feel lonely sometimes.  My virtual family has helped me through a very dark period of mourning and has led me to the other side.  The first time I laughed aloud after my husband's death was at a "thingy" by TD.  I have laughed, cried and felt love again because of people like you.
