A poem would like comments please thanks

Question

I had a dream last night

of the beauty and loves delight,

that took me by total surprise

and the burning ache,

I could not disguise,

it was written to read

in my eyes.

The springtime of love,

seems lost, I try

but I just can't recall,

how such depth of feeling,

emotions revealing,

have left us both,

bitter and sore.
