Not sure if story is set in UK or US yet so both answers would be helpful. I was wondering if you might be able to me. I am doing some research for a novel I am working on. In this novel which is set in 1999/2000 I have a Main Character who along 3 other youths (16-20year olds) they decided one summers afternoon to take off all their clothing and run about nude and terrorising the people in a near by marina they are drunk at the time. Could you tell me roughly how they would be dealt with?

  1. In Scotland it would be dealt with as a breach of the peace.

    Definition being:

Anyone who conducts himself/themselves in a disorderly manner to the Alarm, Annoyance  and disturbance of the lieges.

The lieges being any member of the public and police officers

  2. Quite honestly they would be put back in their clothes, and driven home for the night. If over 20 they might be put in a cell for a few hours.

  3. If you're doing a novel hire a decent proof reader because your English is disgusting.

  4. I would expect Security staff would 'escort' them from the area, or maybe the Police would be called. There would be  public decency charges for naked people terrorising others.

  5. they wouldn't due to lack of evidence hahahaha

  6. Breach of the peace, drunk in a public place, lewd behaviour, indecency.

  7. In UK they would be charged with

    1 indecent exposure

    2 public disorder act

    3 threatening behaviour

    4 drunken disorderly

    5 trespassing
