A policemans hairstyle?

ive just been to my local supermarket(in england), and there was a male police officer there with obviously dyed black hair and a long pony tail. i thought this looked terrible and scruffy, do you think that a police officer on duty should be allowed to have his hair this way or should he bee told to smarten up. or are you of the opinion that it doesn't matter as long as he is doing his job

who cares as long as he's doing his job. maybe he's undercover.

He is doing his job, Obviously his superiors don't mind or it wouldn't have got so long.
