Question:

A possible truth why the West is so scared of global warming?

Consider there is evidence that Ancient Egypt used to be like Europe. The climate was quite temperate at one time with plenty of food and life. Later that all changed and now its all but a dust bowl. Of course Egypt now due to the sheer geography of it cannot compare with other resource rich and land fertile nations. Now we see the world changing. The same thing may happen to the West and as America continues to pollute and abuse its environment we see more areas becoming toxic, super hybred insects and more natural disaster. Could it be the beginning of the end? Imagine the fear those governments must feel that the golden age is coming to the end and soon due to pure geography other nations will be untouchable as they are now. With respect to Britain, it is probably the only nation that could ever conquer so much, then save so much WW1 + WW2 ending up with its previous vassals and colonies being close friends. Possibly its unique saving grace, cant see another nation repeating it tho

  1. I guess we can always move in with you guys if doom happens

  2. I think they're more scared of how politicians plan to tax everything to pay for the global warming hoax.

But you do bring up some good points that just further prove humans have no effect on the climate.

    Thanks for that.

  3. no

  4. The great thing about so-called "global warming" is that it gives you clear targets on who you should hate.

  5. So you're saying ancient Egypt experienced global warming thousands of years ago to turn it into what it is today?  Interesting.  That's strong evidence than it IS a natural thing then, if it happened so long ago.

There's no 'beginning or the end' unless you believe in global warming.  Even then it's a deception.  The West is more educated and thoughtful on the topic than Europe so there is less fear here.  After all, we didn't jump into that crazy Kyoto scam like Europe did.

  6. Has  anybody heard of the petrified forest? Happened before i was born.  lol

  7. Are you saying the ancient Egyptians caused the destruction of their land?

Because if not, you are telling us that we have no control over the climate. And if that is what you meant to say, then you would be right.

  8. because we don't want half the world going under water and never have fresh rain water ever again and have to live on bore water witch is digusting

  9. Despite the fact that New Your was under tonnes of ice thousands of years ago, scientist dug up core samples in, I can't remember if it was the arctic or antarctic.  And when they did tests on them, they found a correlation between CO2 concentration and how hot the Earth was at the time.  During the ice age, CO2 levels may have been really low at the time.

In British Columbia in Canada, there is the pine beetle that is devastating the pine forests.  Normally they wouldn't be a problem, but milder winters in BC prevented enough of their eggs from being destroyed by the cold, and more and more pine beetles sprang up.  Feasting off of the forests.

There are talks of the polar ice caps melting and messing with salt concentrations in the seas, and leading to screwed up weather patterns.

Has global warming been happening on Earth long before man?  Yes, BUT it can easily be argued that we are accelerating the process with the devastation of the rain forests and other forests, as well as bringing up more CO2 from fossil fuels.

As to with Egypt, I cannot really say if it's a real indicator.  But we cannot disprove it either.

  10. Consider that New York was under 5000 ft if ice only 10000 years ago.  Isn't that proof that global warming is a good thing?  And man had nothing to do with it!

  11. The Sahara became larger due to India slamming into Asia and pushing the Himalayan Mountains higher into the sky.  This then re-routed (and separated) the warm air going across Asia and began dumping higher concentrations of that warm air into North Africa.  This made the climate in North Africa warmer and expanded the Sahara.

That was plate tectonics and this is constantly happening.  North and South America are moving away from Europe and Africa because of this.  This is the driving force of climate (after the sun and so-called greenhouse effect).  If the air is being re-routed, it will change local climates and possibly global climate, depending on the size of the change.
