keeping a "vegetarian" kitchen is a requirement. Cheese and eggs OK, but no seafood. Obviously i'm not a vegetarian. Anyone else experience this? The owners are only at the house part-time.

  1. Need more information.  Are you the tenant?  What does your lease / rental agreement say?

  2. I'm not sure what your position or role in this is as. Are you a seller? A Realtor? A tenant?

If that's an owner's requirement, then that's the requirement. Whether the owner is doing it for health reasons or for religious reasons (could be a Kosher household, for instance).

Please post more information on what your involvement is.

  3. That is a personal decision.

  4. I don't think that they can demand that - if they want to keep a vegetarian kitchen - they they need to only rent to a vegetarian. they cannot force someone to live by their beliefs.

  5. That's their rules.  It's just like living under your parents roof.  Except that if you and and your friends get pepperoni pizza, and the owners find out.... they can kick you out.
