So im having a princess party for my daughter. ANybody have any ideas for what to put in the gift bags? The gift bags will be for kids between the ages 1 and 7. and i dont want to put anything to pricey in them- girls should be easy but what about the boys? if i were to make them little pirate girt bags what would be good to put in them besides chocolate coins?

also any ideas on party foods to make. this will be an outdoor under pavillian party. Besides dogs and burgers-

i would like to make it a little fancy since it is a royal princess party. any ideas or suggestions appreciated.

  1. I agree with the dollar store idea.. i found great stuff for gift bags for my sons bday and for my oldest daughters.. instead of a gift bag we gave out batons that had water and glitter inside.. it was a great toy and very cheap.. now for my middle child she is having a Tinkerbell party and i found this bag at walmart that came with everything in it for 8 kids for $8 and all i have to do is fill the bags up.. !!!

Food wise.. I always do a cook out.. my kids bdays are march, april and june soo its usually good weather!!!

  2. Okay, well for the gift bags for the girls get like those foam princess crowns they can decorate them, and chocolate candy, and Princess wash rags, and  a Disney princess bracelet or necklace. I wouldn't give those to the one year olds though. As for the boys why not like eye patch, a  make your own pirate flag, and a inflatable? plastic sword. As for the food I think for the cake you should make a castle out of cupcakes and ice cream cones, and to make fancy for the drinks you should get little plastic whine glasses

I hope this helps I hope the party goes well

  3. i would make sandwiches with peanut butter and jelly and then have those cut outs in the shapes of stars and diamonds and cut them out of the sandwich.  as for the stuf fin the baggies i would go to the dollar store there are tons of things there, wands, jewelry, tiaras...

  4. Go to a Dollar Store .... you can find glowsticks; giant bugs; eye patches; fake tattoos, bath crayons for the boys (also, little slinkys, Silly Putty) .....The girls can have lip balm, hair barrettes and scrunchies, bath confetti, bath crayons, etc....  ......For kids that age, stick to what they like:)  If you don't want to do hot dogs/hamburgers, then have chicken fingers or pizza.  You could even make PB&J and cut them with cookie cutters!... veggie/dip and fruit platters....

  5. Earasers shaped like smiley faces cute little pencils candy like Jolly Ranchers and suckers stickers of princesses could be there goodybags. You could have a princess cake that is soo easy to find now days you can have punch and people would feel like a real princess. Have the kids dress up as there fave princess or prince. Some games you could play could be dancing to appropriate kid friendly songs make your own paper crown.
