I used link constraint to link the legs of a human together, but then i rotate them, they tend to squish. How can i fix this so that the shape stays the same as i rotate. What did i do wrong?

  1. Don't use link constraints between objects.

Use dummys as joints between the legs and their parent (the pelvis, obviously), and then use the constraints between the two dummys.
