A problem with JVC HDD video camera. It's SD card has become nonfunctional.What is the remedy?

The SD card cannot be formated and I cannot take pictures also in the card. How to solve the SD problem. The HDD is working properly. I can take videos and snaps wih HDD only. Can any one suggest some remedial measures?. If I replce the old card with a new one, will it suffice?

You need to make sure that the micro SD card is compatible with the camcorder itself. Best thing to do is go into a local electrical dealership ( i.e currys etc...) and take your camcorder with you. They will then show you which can be used with your camcorder. I had the same problem recently with my JVC everio camcorder. Best of luck!

just replace it with a new one.. i think it will be fine..
