Is there a program that can protect you while you are involved in P2P shearing and downloading?

there is no good program/software to protect your while you are using P2P because your ports are open to all. the best thing you can do is to have a firewall, internet security and antivirus, antispyware/antimalware. and foremost, do not open files, downloaded stuffs without scanning it first for virus. do not use the P2P most of the time. do not get online with it for a long time.
