  1. Wikipedia says that Cavalieri's principle is a particular case of Fubini's theorem, in which case Guest5594 is wrong in saying that you just have to accept it. Axioms are something that you just have to accept, whereas this principle is not. Try googling "Fubini's theorem proof".
