My father was born in Denmark, but his parents (my grandparents) were Americans on holiday there. He is American, but he might have duel citizenship, I'm not sure. I would like to know if this would help me become a Danish citizen?

  1. My parents were both born in Denmark and immigrated to the states. I was born in the states. My mother became a U.S. citizen when I was still a child. She later divorced my biological father and I was subsequently adopted by her second husband who was a U.S. citizen from New Hampshire. My remaining family reside in Denmark. Would the process in obtaining Danish citizenship be the same for me as it would for anyone else?
