First off Will the Post office be open December 26-28?

Second I need to mail a large brwon envelope, how much will

it cost to ship it in the US?

The Post Office will be open after Christmas.

The postage cost depends on how much the envelope weighs and where it is being mailed to.

You could try www.usps.gov and look under "Calculate Postage"  though it's not always easy.

Yep they'll be open, and price depends on service and size of the item. If it's over 13oz. you'll need to ship another way.

It should cost between $1.10ish to $4.00ish
