A question a bout me going to syria?

i need to know how much is the amount i need for suniffecent funds for one month of stay in syria.,i will be staying with friends therei have contacted the syrian embassy here inthe usa they not require that.so thats why i was denied to get on the plane about 4 months ago.i ask the airport delta airlines they told me too call the syrian embassy i did they not required it but the delta site does so what do i do and if any one know how much is needed please tell me

1,000 dollars is enough show money to stay in Syria.

you did not get a visa to go to Syria? but you have to have a visa to go to Syria .....

that is what i have read on the Syria web page ,

Each passport must be submitted either to the Embassy or one of our honorary consulates in California, Texas, or Michigan with two visa application forms and two photos.

Visa fees must be paid by MONEY ORDER ONLY.  Note: Other types of payment will not be accepted.

Visas are valid for three months from the date of issuance.

Entry Visa fees are for either one or two entries and are as follows:

American Citizens: $100 (For applicants outside the United States please pay by traveler's check or international money order payable in the USA).

Non-United States passport holders please call the Syrian Embassy at 202-232-6313 for more information.

it does not mentions what financial funds you must have on the web site
