So if a tenant of a Rented Buildings lease ended a year after They began living in the household, and complications arose and the lease listed that if the specific complications that occurred are the responsibility of the tenant, would they still be the tenants responsibility even if the lease was up?

  1. In most situations... But not all, a lease for a specific period of time, will convert to an assumed month - to - month lease with all other issues not spelled out to end at a specific time, to continue in effect.

    In short, any provisions listed in the lease should continue to be enforceable.
