A question about Bit torrent software?

I've started a download earlier this day and I paused it and when I came back I started the download but now it won't start...is there something wrong? do I have to restart the file or what? help

yes the thing u were downloading must have grown more leechers (leechers aka other people download the same thing ur doing)

There might not be enough seeders (people sharing the file). I'd try another file, or just wait until someone else comes online.

You just have to wait a while. If you left it alone for a while, it has too look through all the tracking list and find people who has the file to download from. Or - the worst possible scenario, all the seeders and the peers went away and it can't find a host to download from.

what client are you using. i'm not going to ask what you are downloading but keep in mind that it is illegal to download files that are not of original content or are protected my copyright.

in general downloading torrents is pretty unsteady. in theory, there are a "smaller" group of people with the whole file or the majority of it. they are connected to other people with a hash file that lists all the contents. your computer then connects to the users with all or most of the file and goes down the list of things you need to complete the files downloading them in fragments. when you pause it can sometimes interrupt the entire download, depending on the stability of the client, but users with the file/files you need may log off their computers hindering your from downloading from them altogether. there could also be complications with their fileswalls, your firewalls, network address translations (NAT) etc.

you can right click and hit force start but it might not work all the time because there is no one seeding the file. seeders are people u r downloading the file from and if there is no seeders you will have to wait for some or choose another file that has seeders. the best way to choose a certain download is look for the one with the most seeders. if you want more information on better torrent sites email me a message i can find u better torrents with a lot of seeders and this will make the download go fast also

There's probably just no seeders....are you using UTorrent? If so, if theres no seeders the green download icon to the left of the file name will turn red.. if you're not using UTorrent, delete you current program and install it.
