A question about Canada Post?

I want to send a gift to my friend in the mail. The gift is a very small magnet and it can fit inside of an envelope. I wanted to know, instead of mailing it as a package(because sending it as a package is going to cost 12 dollars), can I just bubble wrap it and put it inside of the envelope? Will I need to put an extra stamp on it?

  1. Yes, you can bubble wrap it and put it inside an envelope.  They will measure the package at the post office.  As long as it fits into a mail slot, it is fine.  You may have to pay a bit extra in postal cost, but not much since if it is being mailed inside Canada.

  2. Post outlets sell buble envelopes that you can use, you could also try sending it your way.

If this is in Canada you shouldnt have a problem if its international you will need the buble envelopes that are sold at the post office.

  3. Are you in the US?  If so, your post offices will know this.  They are aware of international shipping requirements and costs.

  4. You can place it in a small bubble wrap envelope and send it that way, they sell those at the postal outlet.

Is it International? cause that might present a problem for the magnet going through scanners.
