A question about FIFA 2008: I was playing Italy in the World cup Semi Final as England when.......?

I took a shot on goal with Wayne Rooney, i missed and the ball went for an Italian goal kick, Buffon kicked the ball up field straight to Toni who had a shot on goal, but my keeper saved, and the ball went out of play for a corner. This confused me, as I thought my defence would handle a goal kick so I looked at the replay on 'free cam'. I was bewildered to see all of my England players behind the advert boards behind the Italian goal! none of my players were on the pitch and the ball had gone straight up field to the Italian offence.

When the Italians took their corner, they were all back on the pitch!

Can anyone tell me what went on? did all my players fancy hanging out with the press? or just have enough after another pre match late night?

anyway I went on to win 4-1.

I think it was just a glitch in the game, sometimes when i play fifa 08 the commentators stop talking for minutes and the crowd goes silent its like i'm playing in an empty stadium :)
