A question about Guitar Hero 3.....?

In career mode I bought a bunch of outfits for the characters but I cant seem to figure out how to save the clothes on them. I dont like a lot of the original outfits so I really want to change them. Help!

Go to the store. Buy the clothes. Then go to menu where you select the person  you are playing with or want to change clothing. Then you go to career and then it's the 2nd I think. It says change clothes. Had to check.

Mine is career mode "hard" then umbrella . Might be different. I guess it's the last you did. But it has change clothes as a option. Hope that helps.
