So Hypothetically Someone is being sued (I've heard about things like the following happening before) for a certain amount of money, and the Plaintiff of the Case Suggests that the Names of the Defendant is not their name in actuality. Is this Unlawful, and if so is there anything possible to be done about it?

  1. i'm not an attorney, but if i'm a plaintiff and i have reason to believe the defendant is using a different name, you can bet i'm pointing this out to the court. Let the court decide what to do with this info, but my guess is the court won't take kindly to this apparent deception.  Good luck
