Question:

A question about Sarah Palin rumors?

I'm wondering if there's any validity to the rumors that she's not the mother, but the grandmother, of the disabled baby? I'm leaning towards dismissing it as nonsense, but I can't find any pics of her pregnant, the thread about it at Sean Hannity's website has been removed, and I do find it hard to believe that a woman who's so ardently 'pro-life' would board an airplane while in labor, and was permitted to do so because she "wasn't showing" - her words. (I did find quotes and articles backing up this part of the story.)

Am I being an idiot in wondering about this, or might there be something to the story?

  1. It's probably nonsense.

Besides, her policies are enough of a reason to not want her to be in a prominent executive position...

  2. 18 April 2008 (36 weeks) – 10 Dec 2007 = 17 weeks and 2 days pregnant. Sarah said, " my one and only son in Iraq".

When you are 4 months pregnant, how can you say that you only have one son?

By the way, risk factor of Down's syn. due to age only applies to first-term mothers. Have you heard of Down's syn. kid with FOUR normal siblings?

  3. I' don't know about the pregnancy thing...but I strongly suspect some unexpected things about her will surface in the very near future.  Every inch of her past is going to be researched to the hilt and not many people can withstand that kind of scrutiny.

  4. Zilla, please stop spreading the vicious rumors.  This is even worse than your photo-shopped post last night.

Ray J - life long Republitard.

Edit: Forgiven as long as it was done in the good natured give and take that is R&S.   (((ZILLA)))

  5. I have a really good friend that had 3 children.   She was around 35 and got pregnant with the fourth child.   He has Down Syndrome and her last child before that was 5.   So at the time the kids ages were.....15...12...5 and newborn.     So it always does not go by the age.....So to answer your question......do not assume something until you have REAL proof!    For whatever reason she is calling this child hers...that is her perogitive.    Give her credit if she is taking on someone else's child.   She is a saint!

Although, I am voting for Obama.

  6. So another skeleton in her closet.  Who knows really but the media will fish it out.  Actually quite a few women her age give birth to Down's Syndrome children.  That's why most doctors perform amniocentesis after 35 to find out if there are any deformities.  Most then have a procedure if its early on, to end the pregnancy.  I think the  story arose because the daughter was holding the child on the podium.  Probably nothing to it.

  7. True or not, she and McCain have both shown poor judgement.  McCain for choosing her to manipulate the electorate, and her for accepting a position she admitted she knows nothing about.

If she boarded a plane in that condition without telling airline staff, she is a deceitful person, as those staff could have ended up assisting her in a birth.  In my opinion, withholding critical information is akin to lying.

  8. Of course she didn't lie about having a baby to cover up her daughter's pregnancy.

The Governor, a vocal anti-choice Republican, chose to return to Alaska to have her 5th child despite the following risk factors:

    1.  She was leaking amniotic fluid (her water broke) increasing the risk of infection.

    2.  She was 44 years old, a risky age for childbirth.

    3.  The baby she was carrying had known "special challenges" (down syndrome)

    4.  The child was one full month premature.

    5.  She flew from Texas to Alaska on a commercial airline (Alaska Airlines) while while leaking amniotic fluid, a 10 or more hour flight depending on the length and location of her layover.

    6.  She did not inform any of the airline staff of her condition.

However, Gregg Erickson, a reporter from the Anchorage Daily News, told the Daily Kos that the rumors had been investigated and debunked.

So it appears that these behaviors are not those of a person faking/covering up a pregnancy but merely those of someone with terrible, terrible judgment.

  9. I have all the details and pictures in my source, but basically Sarah Palin didn't appear pregnant 7 months into her pregnancy.  Her daughter Bristol was pulled from school for 5 months for "mono".  During the Dayton, Ohio rally, Bristol is holding Trig (the downs syndrome child), not a babysitter.  Pictures taken in March of the Palin family show Bristol to have a baby bump.  I can't really post pictures here so you will have to look at the link to see, but it definitely seems like where there is smoke, there is fire.
