When I lived in Buffalo, NY my school district there removed me from their public schools because after I picked many fights in the 8th grade the special education department was concerned about how I would adapt in a public high school setting. Against my wishes I was placed in a behavioral modification school, Gateway-Longview, and the faculty there bullied me just because I was a thug prior to my two years there. By the time my family moved to here to Las Vegas nearly ten years ago I became happy because I no longer have to deal with Gateway-Longview’s stupid c**p. When I finished my last two years at Silverado High School I became happy again because I felt like I was in prison for two years and got early parole for good behavior. Because I was new to the Clark County School District I got a chance to start with a clean slate. Does this make sense to anybody

  1. Every child needs to get a start with a clean slate.  Schools often misunderstand many students and railroad them in alternative programs.  I run a school for kids who have no where else to turn.  A little love and caring go a long way.  Good for you for not giving up.
