A question about a Deposits on an apartment in Dublin?

Im hoping to rent an apartment with my friend, which I am viewing 2moro. If I accept, could I say I'll move in on the 1st of Sept, and that I can pay the deposit when I get paid at the end of the month. Would this be ok and would the apartment still be held for me? The apartment is in Dublin.

Most landords require deposit and 1st months rent upon signing lease. When looking at the apartment tomorrow discuss with the landlord about your situation. Some landlords are accomodating and may work with you.
