A question about a breathalyzer?

lets say one day you have 6 beers and 15 hours later you have to take a breath test....would it come up 0.00? i guess i'm asking because one time i heard of a lady who had one drink and then 24 hours later it came up on the breathalyzer.....do you think she's full of it?

One drink will not show up 24 hours later.  The only way that would stay in the blood that long is if the person died after the drink and they tested her blood 24 hours later.  The body processes alcohol at the rate of about 1 drink per hour (1 12 oz beer, or 1 8 oz glass of wine or 1 1.5 oz hard liquor).  So, unless the woman's "1 drink" was actually 36 oz of vodka, she's full of something other than alcohol.

It's possible to blow a 0.00 24 hours later, but it's also possible to have it come up.
