my friend, 22, had problems with her period ever since she started when she was around twelve. she eventually got on birth control to regulate it. then she stopped taking it a few years ago. well, she does not have regular periods. sometimes she has the cramps but nothing comes out. so she pops a birth control pill every couple of months and it starts. so she feels better about that. she is not sexually active, so there is no worries with having to take the pill regularly. does anyone know what is wrong with her and why she is not regular. she believes if she didnt take the pill every few months, that she would not even have a period. please help.

  1. i think its just ok,i wud love it if it was me.the thing that worries me is that she is not sexually active, well what wud i say abt that....u knw God made us all different..                                                           hope she'l fynd a man who'l love her 4 her ....LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. that is just like me...most likly she has PCOS and really needs to talk to her doc.

  3. She has an abnormal period.  There's nothing wrong with that.  She'll be fine even if she only gets her period once every 6 months.  Why would she want to bleed anyway? She doesn't need to "pop" in birth control; that's a waste.
