I was just wondering if Nestle Smarties ice cream is halal? I searched on various places and i got different answers. Do you guys know if this is halal...guaranteed?

Im not sure if it's halal, but if it has any haram ingredient in it, then it's obviously haram to eat and taste.

and since you dont know where the origin of the "mono and diglycerides come from.. it could be animal or vegetable fats.. you need to write to the company

call nestle and say you are sensitive and allergic to absolutely any pork by products. they don`t want a law suit, so they most likely will be honest with you.

Check for the circle K or circle U in the front of the box......if it's kosher than it is halal as well! You can also call nestle and ask if the mono & diglycerides is vegi or animal orgin...if they say animal ask which...and if they don't know ask if it is kosher.

I call different companies all the time! I just recentlt found out Watchamakalits are kosher and halal....yay! yummm.

Anything by Nestle you should avoid as it is a Zionist company. I never by any product made by Nestle out of respect for the Holy Land.

The only way to know it is halal is that it has the halal logo in it, if not then no like most things in the US so I do not understand really???

Do you mean are their pork products in it? Just read the ingredients look for geletain or pork if not your ok.

Even if it says its kosher that doesn't mean that its halal. Kosher does have strict dietary laws but not when it comes to gelatin sources, which is what I think you're looking to see if it contains.
