A question about alfonso soriano?

For people that watched him before he got to the cubs, has soriano always had long strides when he runs? I mean i know hes running really fast, but it just never looks like it with the really long strides of his.

He has always run that way.  Of course in New York and Texas it wasn't as noticeable because he was still a 2nd baseman.  Now that he is in the outfield you see him run a lot more so you notice it more.

He has long legs and long strides. Taking shorter strides would only make him run slower.
